Featured Work
Painting and Music for the Blind
Artist Mary Pfaff and musician Gertrude Letourneau designed and presented a ground-breaking painting and music workshop for the blind and visually impaired.
Featured Artist
Getrude Létourneau
Engaging audiences in music is a major influence for flautist and singer Gertrude Letourneau. Gertrude, who has a music BA from the University of Ottawa and a Masters in performance at the University of Montreal, has been involved in innovative musical communication programs in Toronto and London, England, focusing on community music-making.
Featured Volunteer
Elizabeth Lamarche
As a volunteer in Africa teaching math to children, Elizabeth Lamarche used art as a way of making math fun and interesting for her pupils. Now Elizabeth uses this knowledge as a volunteer for Artswell to help people living with dementia and mental health challenges open doors to their own ability to create.
Artswell is grateful for the successful partnerships we have formed (PDF, 226 KB).
